Scotch 1617 is a quick-drying zinc dust corrosion protection primer that provides permanent protection against rust and corrosion by bonding with the metal surfaces.

Scotch 1617 has excellent adhesion to iron and steel, is resistantto weathering, UV radiation, moisture, heat up to 500°C, alkaline solutions and mineral oils. It is an ideal primer for metal constructions.
Compliant to salt spray test: 800/80µ acc.DIN EN ISO9227 and mandrel bending test acc. DIN EN ISO1519.

Lasting protection against rust and corrosion of bare iron and steel fabrications.
Restoration and protection on galvanised metals following damage.
