The SuperformAF machine cuts, bends and forms the legs of axial components with a lug diameter of 0.5 to 1mm.
An innovative, fully mechanical forming system allows the drive system to perform a short stop while the two forming tools close and form a loop on both legs, of a shape corresponding to the dies used.
In this way, the component is first cut and folded in "U" at the desired pitch, and then is formed forming the loops.
The cutting and folding dimensions, and the position of the loops, are adjustable.
By changing the forming tools, various types of forming can be obtained. It is also possible to remove the forming operation very easily.
The basic model SUPERFORM / AF allows the manual work of the components in band.
The addition of the variable speed motor group makes the work automatic. This increases productivity.
