ESD puzzle slab mats provide a unique floor material.
They can be placed on any hard surface with minimal or no surface preparation.
As long as the surface is relatively even, damp, worn basements and, in some cases, can be improved quickly.
The ESD puzzle slab mats are laid freely on the floor and their unique molded shapes are easily locked and put in place.
A mallet is enough, no special tools are needed.
Since these ESD slabs can be installed in a simple and modular way, it is not necessary to stop business operations during installation.
In case of minimal temperature changes (ambient temperature of +/- 5 ° C), it is imperative to leave a space of 5 mm between the slabs and any fixed point (walls and columns) thus allowing the carpets to expand and Contract.
In order to ground the interlocking mats a copper tape (every 5m) is laid loosely under the material and is connected to the earth via a 1Mohm resistor.
For grounding by means of a stud, the copper tape is connected to the material with a stud and grounded with an earth bonding plug.
