Components Corporation, a manufacturer of precision printed circuit board interconnect products, is re-introducing the FJ Series of printed circuit board jumpers developed specifically for SMT applications in additional package sizes.
The FJ Series is the first true surface mount technology jumper developed for SMT applications.
The new FJ-1206 and FJ-0805, as well as the new FJ-0603, expand the product range by offering more package size options for specific design requirements. The FJ series is a flat wire form that offers stability, strength and reliability during assembly. The FJ jumpers from the Components companies allow reverse mounting on the PCB for specific design requirements and optimum use of board real estate.
The FJ Series features an ultra-low profile that requires no costly or time-consuming insulation. Compatible with automated placement and soldering equipment, the FJ Series is supplied on 7" tape and reel (1000 pieces). The product is manufactured from flat copper wire # C110 with a .0001 matte finish on nickel, meeting ANSI / EIA-481 standards. Maximum current rating is 2.0 amps.
